There is a
Facebook scam circulating on the social network that claims Facebook is hiring people to work from home through their Work From Home Program and/or the Facebook Millionaire Kit.
The scam claims that “Facebook has now opened it’s doors and will be hiring everyday people to work from the comfort of their own homes posting links, sharing stories, reviewing sites and more. ” This iscompletely false. Facebook is not hiring anyone to work from home.
This scam is designed to direct victims to suspicious websites to persuade them to sign up for and purchase a “Millionaire Kit.” This is done in order to phish user information such as Full Names and Email Addresses. This scam is also designed to scam Facebook users into purchasing a non-beneficial or non-existent financial kit.
If you see posts on your Facebook news feed that claims Facebook has now released a “Work From Home Program” that will allow people to work from the comfort of their own homes ignore it or report it. The information is false, Facebook does not have a program that allows users to work from home.
